World-Class Golfing in a Laurel Mountain Setting

The Laurel Mountains are known for their colorful and dramatic vistas. Golfers who play the two 18-hole championship courses at the Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort enjoy sweeping views of the mountains as well as enchanting woodland valleys. Both courses at the Resort offer sculpted bent grass fairways, undulating bent grass greens, multiple tees and varied pin placements. Golfing at either course provides a challenge regardless of handicap.

The Tom's Run Golf Course has been voted the 6th best public golf course in Pennsylvania and is the newer of the two award-winning golf courses at Chestnut Ridge. "Tom Terrific" was the phrase used to describe this Bill Love/Ault Clark design just weeks after its 1994 debut. Given its name from a creek that wanders through the front nine, Tom's Run takes a scenic route through laurel-lined canyons, while the gentle rolling terrain on the back nine presents its own unique set of challenges.

The Chestnut Ridge Golf Course is a 4-star rated course. Designed by Harris/Garbin and built in 1964, Chestnut Ridge Golf Course has been called a hidden treasure by the Altoona Mirror. Enjoy a truly memorable golf experience as you relish the beautiful views of the Laurel Mountains with the bent grass greens, tees and fairways.

Every game ends in victory. Choose from Italian or sports bar style venues to wrap up your day on the Course.

For a sports bar setting, choose the Spike Bar. It offers cold pints, mixed drinks and an assortment of classic appetizers and sandwiches.

At the end of the day, consider 37 Grille. It's a place where friends gather for a warm meal, the faces are always smiling and the menu is easy-going and satisfying.
