The Tom's Run G.C. was ranked the 6th best public golf course in Pennsylvania and is the newer of the two award-winning golf courses at Chestnut Ridge. "Tom Terrific" was the phrase used to describe this Bill Love/Ault Clark design just weeks after its 1994 debut. Given its name from a creek that wanders through the front nine, Tom's Run takes a scenic route through Laurel lined canyons, while the gentle rolling terrain of the back nine presents its own unique set of challenges.
Alternatively, the Chestnut Ridge G. C. is a 4-star rated course. Designed by Harris/Garbin and built in 1964, Chestnut Ridge golf course has been called a hidden treasure by the Altoona Mirror. Enjoy a truly memorable golf experience as you relish the beautiful views of the Laurel Mountains with the bent grass greens, tees and fairways.
